Finally got around to unboxing this! GOC Illumina B "Chinese New Year" Edition, swamp ash body, roasted maple neck, 34"-37"!
I wanted something completely different from my current stable (Greco Tbird, Goya "Alembic" bass), so I went the polar opposite direction!. I got a chance to try out dingwalls in my local Long and Mcquade, which helped me get acclimated to the multiscale. The bass itself is super light, which I also wanted for a 5 string. I'm going to leave it stock for a few months but I know for a fact it's going to have nostrand dingwall pickups on it once I find the right preamp to pair for it!
