A renewed Love for reading!
I was a big reader as a kid and remember spending hours and hours of my days reading Percy Jackson and Harry Potter in the cool, damp comfort of my basement! Through out college and early adulthood I forgot to read things I loved and only read for school (as you can see from the Virgin Mary shelf above the Grisham books I studied anthropology and religion).
In the last two years my love for stories of fiction that sweep me away to long ago, haunted, mysterious, future and magical places has brought so much joy to my life that I forgot I needed! I sometimes read now and think of the excitement in my chest I could feel when Percy or Harry were in a tumultuous situation. It makes me feel young at heart and I hope I can feel that for the rest of my life.
Just wanted to share my collection that I recently started mostly through garage sales, thrift stores and Facebook marketplace deals! As you can see I looovveee a mass market paper back!
