My Libraries ♥️
Still need to finish trim on the latest bookshelves but I’m enjoying my little sanctuary. This is our third home library project and I’ve loved every single one.

This is all of my fiction “for adults,” YA and kids have their own little section. Alpha by author and then chronological. The very top row is where the letter F starts because I felt bad that the same books were always on the floor, so a slight shuffle without messing up the system.
Yes, there is some hand-bound fanfiction in here. In total I would guess I’ve read about half of what’s here — I keep the book if I think I will reference it again or have multiple friends borrow it, otherwise it goes on to a new home and makes room for new books :)
I’ve been collecting avidly since high school and this collection moved across the country with me a few years ago. Thank god for banker’s boxes!!
On loan rn: Lady Audley’s Secret, Ratman’s Notebook, The Hike
Built this over the weekend using Ikea kallax units. Going to put drawers/cupboard doors on the bottom that’s been left empty but how can I improve this/make it more aesthetically pleasing?
Been acquiring books since I was little kid. Recently, I reorganized and purged a lot of old books (books I knew I wasn’t going to read again) and this is what’s left. The genres are a little bit all over the place, I know.
Just finished setting up my new corner shelf! We bought a house recently and I finally have all my books shelved now 💜
I'm making my office all sage greens and pinks so I painted my shelves and added contact paper to the backings for a little flair.
Can't wait to fill those empty spaces
I recently downsized some and wanted to reorganize, so I can finally get some decent images of my shelves. I figured I'd share with you all since I've been lurking around here for awhile now. Enjoy looking at everything and if you like more info on some just in case you can't read it etc let me know.
I enjoy knick knacks. Don't judge. I dust frequently.
I had some spaces where I couldn’t fit more books so I added some funko’s.
Definite nerd shelves though, I know.
I’ve been reading and collecting books since I was little. I have a love for fantasy, romantasy, dystopian, thriller/horror, and YA books. Here are all the book shelves I have at the moment :)
Hello again! I’m posting this amazing bookcase by husband built but this time, showing the false wall/secret doors he built in to the case. (I didn’t post them on the other post main…some pics in comments.)
Pic 1–case beginning to get filled.
Pic 2–shows the first door swinging open. The blue arrow indicates how the second door swings out.
Pic 3–door open.
Pic 4–both doors open.
Pic 5–keypad.
Pic 6–the third hidden door on the far right of the bookcase open.
A few interesting shelves. More to come, if anyone is interested.
I was wondering, other people who also organize by genre and subgenre; what's the smaller number of books that you can have that you'll create a subgenre on your shelf for?
3? 5?
(Clearly I'm doing some rearranging...)
Ignore the messy last couple of pictures, the joys of parenthood.
I finally got a bookshelf but need help organizing it. Planning on adding more 20th century boys and jjk.
These are books that are unread, or that I am currently reading.
