I got a full-time seasonal job. Can they cut my hours from full time?

I was a blue badge in 2024 so I don't remember too much about seasonal employees. I do remember they can be cut whenever needed, I understand that. But if your schedule says 40 hours per week as a seasonal employee, that part is guaranteed right? It's just the long-term job security that's unpredictable? From what I remember, if Amazon doesn't need as many workers, they will offer VTO but you donit have to take it, but maybe that was a blue badge privilege?

I don't wanna sign up for 40 hours and get 25 hours per week after they hire me. I dont mind getting 40 hours weekly until the inevitable cut which is completely fine with me since its seasonal. Does anyone know the answer to this?

I used to work for amazon 2 years ago and last minute was looking into a full time seasonal job for the summer. I actually heard just today Prime Day got moved back to June instead of July, so now Im wondering is it too late? I have been checking their website the past few days and see some openings but in other cities like 50 miles away. Those jobs started on 5/20

The thing is Im not able to work until 6/1... so now Im thinking they wont hire me 6/1 to work a few weeks then let me go after Prime Day? Math doesnt make sense. Or do they hire full time throughout the summer too.
