I inherited a 1969 Mustang and I know NOTHING about cars and I open the hood and it’s kinda rough down there but I see this weird plate, and I can’t find anything about it online. My engine SAYS 351 but looking up my VIN, it appears it’s a 302. I have no idea what I’m looking at, can anyone tell me what kind of engine this is from looking at it, and what is supposed to go on this plate?
