hi everyone, i had noticed a month ago my daughter had what appeared to be a mozzie bite on her shoulder. if looked as though she had scratched the top off, so i’d put a bit of antiseptic cream on it (savalon) and put a bandaid on to avoid further damage from her scratching. in the photo i’ve attached, the square/rectangle shaped damage is from the bandaid, i was unaware of her having the same adhesive allergy as myself but since i’ve noticed that, i haven’t put another bandaid on it. this what the sore looks like now, as you can see it’s gotten a lot worse, infected and irritated. i have an appointment with the doctor but it’s not for a few more weeks since there were no sooner availabilities to bring her in, so i thought id ask here if anyone would have a clue as to what i should do in the meantime to aid with healing & prevent further irritation & infection. i thought id also ask if anyone would have a clue as to what the sore is. i’ve never seen a mozzie bite progress to a state like this on anyone and i’m starting to think she could’ve been bitten by something else. thank you
