I don't work on PlayStations a ton and when I do it's normally PS1s and 2s, but without fail, every time I have worked on a PS3 Super Slim, the eject button/mech is broken. I know that this is due to some plastic pegs breaking off from inside the gear, normally causing the gears to break off and fall in the console (and become useless). I haven't ever really tried to fix it as I never found a solution online that everyone really agreed on. But hey, maybe I didn't look good enough, does anyone here have any tips or ideas on how you have fixed this problem? Thanks in advance.

I can post some pictures if there is confusion on what mechanism/gears I'm talking about.
