Looking for info on life in Shelby, NC
My husband and I are moving to Shelby due to a job transfer. I tried to do some digging around on Reddit but most posts are 3-4 yrs old. Which areas of town should we avoid? Better neighborhoods than others? Schools are not a concern, kids are in college. Homes on Lake Moss are out of our price range. The real estate market seems to be slow, not a lot of options which is frustrating. We spent a weekend in town last month and found ourselves pleasantly surprised by activity uptown both nights. Not that we’re out for a big nightlife, but activity was good to see.
Would love some feedback from anyone living there now.
