Second Interview, told 4-5 questions

Posting this in some education subs as well in case this is too niche, but I think you all will have some insight.

I have a second interview for a public school district level behavior interventionist position. The first interview was a 5 person panel compromised of the director of behavior, two principals from different grade levels, and two of the current district interventionists. It had 10 scripted questions with some additional, focused on everything from my current role in designing behavior plans and how I handle disagreements with teachers or admin to what I do for self-care. My second interview is with the director of behavior and the assistant superintendent. I was told 4-5 total questions, 20 total minutes. What can I do to prepare for this? What could they possibly ask me?

Rabbit Rehoming

Does anyone know of any organizations that will take rabbits? We have a lions mane and simply aren't able to give it what it needs. Facebook tends to get mean about these things, so I'd rather not post in those groups.

Blackberries incoming

So excited for our front yard blackberry bushes. Second year in and I’m so excited.

What’s happening?

What’s going on with my career? Marriage? Kids? Mid 30s and things are wild. Curious what you see in astrology and if it might be related.

Who am I?

I’ve got a pretty good idea of who I am as a mid 30s adult who feels fairly confident in my self understanding, but I’m really curious how others see my birth chart based on the whole sign system. Any other thoughts are welcome.

I had an interview in a fairly large district for a lead teacher position at the end of the day on Thursday. It felt like the interview went really well. Conversation flowed, I'm proud of the way I answered most questions, and there were quite a few compliments throughout on some of the things I said. Not perfect, obviously, but it felt good. I didn't ask about timelines, but the head principal in the interview said something about being "at the beginning of the hiring process," that it could "be a couple of weeks, but maybe not because they'll have to move fast because of the timing," and "there will likely be a second round of interviews with the special education administrators."

First of all, I'd love your take on this ending. Secondly, when do I follow up about the process? I have two other interviews this week in a different district and would love to know where I stand when I go in.

I’m overanalyzing an education interview from today and I’d love some input about responses/interactions that stood out. Most are good, but I’m curious how normal they are. I was meeting with a team of a principal and 4 APs in a large secondary building about a lead teacher job. Here are a few of the moments that stand out:

“You’re clearly well spoken, so/but…” (no idea what the end of this was.)

Question was something about time management and I simplified it- you put the legal/mandated things into your calendar and work around them. I said that it sounds simple, but it works and I’m not sure how to elaborate.

Asked about how I lead teams and gave a metaphor, one of the APs (the one over my department) says “I really like that” and writes it down. A bit later, I gave a short synopsis of working with difficult parents- again, not a planned statement- and was told that it should be my tagline on my resume.

Good vibes over all, but it felt like at least one member of the team didn’t care that I was there at all. She’s the one who asked about time management but was typically on her iPad. One kept telling me about their school- I’m genuinely interested and acted so, but I couldn’t read her. One was really intense and quiet but asked a few questions. He was one of two that shook my hand at the end- I’m guessing it was proximity based, but I struggled with that part.

The candidate before me was walked out by one of the admin and was told something like “our HR team will be in touch either way.” I didn’t get a walk out, but it was right before release.

Again, I’m way overthinking all of this but I’d love opinions on anything you’re seeing here.

I'm a teacher with two boys, turning 5 and 7, who have May birthdays. They're asking for a "big" party this year instead of low key park play with a few friends and cake. It's the busiest time of year for me and I'm not naturally good at this. I'd like to keep it as simple for me as possible while still making it fun, and I need so much advice.

We have a room reserved at the local community center next to the indoor pool with a limit of 25 total people. I have invitations that will (hopefully) go out at the end of this week for the party scheduled for May 23. I've told them they can each invite 4 friends. Is that the right amount? Too high or low? I'm nervous about going over the limit, especially if parents show up and happen to bring siblings without asking. We have 5 people in our immediate family.

We have the party room for roughly an hour and a half- they said we can usually get in around 10 minutes early. How do I make this work? What do I do that's simple enough to set up in 10 minutes?

I'm thinking of taking a professional-looking notebook into an upcoming interview, both for writing down information/answers to my questions and for having a few memory-jogging things so that I don't accidentally blank. Is that frowned upon?
