Looking to build a granny flat/ carriage house on our property in the next year or two and want to start planning, getting permits etc. The company we planned on consulting has absolutely awful reviews and apparently subcontracts the whole thing out to random people.

Would love recommendations on who to check out/who to avoid from anyone who’s had a big project done in recent years. It’ll be just west of Ottawa.
