For context my b-day was about 2 days ago, I F19, have 2 brothers M21 and M24. As you can see I am the youngest.
On My b-day we went to some sushi place that's not so expensive and me and my parents enjoy a lot, so normally in restaurants here in my ntry (and probably most I think) when is a birthday you have to tell the waiter so they can bring a slice of cake and sing happy bday song. So none of my parents told the waiter so it was like a normal sushi dinner (btw we are regulars at this place Even the manager knows us) (and btw eating out isnt weird for us, like 4/7 days of the week we eat out) so I brushed it off, after eating we aheaded to the mall but in all the car ride my mom kept pestering about not using my bday money for candies or whatever, as always. So now at the mall we are just walking around and my mom ends up buying My M21 brother a pair of nike air forces (mind You he wasnt even there, and they costed about 114 US dollars) MIND YOU she gave me the same money as Bday money present. And I told her that wasnt very nice on my b-day cause I felt like it wasnt my bday at all, so she went on rant about how My brother needs them and how she also buys me shoes when I need them (mind You she HAS NEVER bought me shoes that expensive, when I need shoes she buys me some SPORTLINE shoes that here are about 28-29 US dollars).
So I felt like shit on my b-day, and yesterday My cousin F26 took me out and my family for breakfast at a Nice brunch place, she payed for everyone cause it was My bday the day before, and she even asked my mom if there was going to cake or what, to which my mom answered that I havent told them anything. Anyway, so in the car ride back I asked my dad if we could stop by for my cake, and he said ok later. So the later came, we were just going out to eat (unrelated to My b-day), and my dad says that we could go to the carls jr near the bakery and my mom Says no that she wants to go to the mall and eat something of the food court.
So, they took the decision without asking me cause the cake was for my bday, mind You no one has sung to me the bday song by then not Even as a joke, nothing, not Even a small muffin, nothing at all.
So there at the mall I told My mom that I was hurt Because I felt like they dont care for my b-day at all, then she told My dad and basically he tell me I'm being an AH and dramatic. And I cant help to think they're right.
