All the Mario Movie Power-Ups I Could Find

All the Mario Movie Power-Ups I Could Find

Super Mushroom, Fire Flower, Super Star, Mini Mushroom, Ice Flower, Superleaf, Superbell, 1-Up Mushroom, Boomerang Flower, P-Balloon, Cape Feather, P-Wing, Turnip, Yoshi Egg, Frog Suit, Penguin Suit, Drill Mushroom, Cloud Flower, Blimp Berry, Red Star, Double Cherries, Propeller Suit, Poison Mushroom, DK Hammer, Cannon Box.

This list does not include Mario Kart items like shells, bananas, coins or Bullet Bills.

Items like the Double Cherries and the Propeller Mushroom are implied to exist, despite not appearing phyically yet.

I know the Turnip is technically not a real power up, but I included it because I think it fits right in well.

Some items like the Super Pickaxe and the Super Hammer do appear as regular tools, but until I see a version of these tools with eyes, I personally don't count them. Oh, and I haven't seen Mario use a Super Hammer to transform himself into Builder Mario yet.

"That picture of the 1-Up Mushroom was only in a piece of promotional material! It didn't appear in the actual movie!". Yes, but a 2D render of it did appear on the slot machines in Wart's casino in Galaxy, so either way, it counts.

Anything I missed?

The "It's Made For Kids" Excuse

A lot of people hate this excuse/defense because of how dismissive it is. Obviously just because something's aimed at kids doesn't mean it's exempt from criticism. Kids SHOULD be watching genuinely good movies and shows. However, that doesn't mean this defense is 100% worthless.

I mean, if a critic says something like "I just thought it could've been much better than it actually is", then responding with "it's made for kids" is very petty.

But if a critic says something like "this movie is a crime against humanity, and it deserves to burn in hell!", then saying "dude, chill! It's a kids movie!" should be allowed.

Am I wrong? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
