I am losing confidence because I keep repeating left turns every lesson.
I am very disheartened. I have done 6 lessons. 1 hour 30 minute lesson once a week. During the lesson I feel I did well but when next week rolls around, my skill level drops so much. It took an hour and ten minutes doing it today to get back to scratch. I predict this is going to happen next week too.
I know everyone goes at their own pace but the lessons are expensive as it is, and I feel pressured to do well. I feel like personally 1 hour per week is so low for practice. At this point I might as well get a steering wheel and do hours of a driving simulator on my computer. I am also aware doing 1-2 hours per week applies to everyone and that it is normal.
In my opinion, the instructor is ok. My nitpick is that he forgets what we did last week a lot. Today he went "your left turns were better last week" but in my mind, I couldn't even keep the car straight last week as I'm turning. I don't know, I feel like he misremebers. He acts like I'm supposed to do it fine. I did 10 minutes of right turns and he got lowkey upset I didn't do it right.... Like I'm supposed to do it perfectly with 10 minutes of practice?
