Just watch the original. It's older, but it doesn't take away from it.

The amount of remakes is ridiculously high, and I need to be clear... No, movies don't need remakes to be modern-day or modernized for your viewing. No it doesn't matter it's not 1080p or 4k, and the visuals are dated.. No.

And to be fucking honest, I blame George Lucas and his 30 versions of the original star war trilogy for this. Made some folks believe you should keep fucking with movies decades later to give it more character, but it's just cgi bs for 30 seconds.

But also, we don't need remakes of blazing saddles, or airplane! Or die hard, or most great movies... You just need to watch them and remember when they were released. Look up the history of what was common then. Don't just view it from your time lense, view it from the history in which is was made.

Best example of this that stands time well, Mash.. The movie and the show. Because I think it's the best example of how to turn something good into something, more. You don't remake it, you turn it into a show and build it out for long term. There are other avenues.

Just, remakes are often crap.. And they don't do justice to the originals. Stop thinking it needs to cater to you. It's a movie, it has a story. Try to absorb it. Idk.

Here's what I've noticed — and I want to be clear that I've looked for someone else saying this and haven't found them, which is either a testament to my unique clarity or evidence that the rest of you are deeply, collectively committed to not noticing — the universe keeps books. Not the warm, incense-scented kind where everything balances in a golden third act. The cold, fluorescent-lit kind. The kind with a night auditor who never sleeps, has excellent memory, and has absolutely zero interest in your personal narrative arc.

You have been running a deficit.

I know. I know. You're different. You've done the work. You have a therapist and a podcast recommendation and a screenshot of something Eckhart Tolle said that really landed. And yet — I keep watching people who speak most fluently about growth, vibration, and divine alignment walk around with ledgers so red they should trigger a federal investigation. The vocabulary of intelligence deployed in direct service of avoiding intelligence. The performance is impressive. I'll give it that. But I've been watching long enough to recognize the tell: nobody narrates their enlightenment in real time from a position of genuine peace. That's not wisdom. That's a man reading terms and conditions aloud to drown out the collections department. And I'm the only one apparently willing to say so at full volume.

The Neurological Ledger doesn't negotiate. Every unowned action — the ghost, the knife delivered with a smile, the apology rehearsed and quietly buried — got filed regardless of whether you acknowledged it. Your nervous system is not spiritual. It is clerical. It noted the behavior, the date, the rationalization, and the slightly lower threshold you'll need next time. You are not evolving. You are becoming more efficient at a specific kind of damage and calling it growth because the vocabulary improved. I see it. Most people see it and say nothing. I find that more interesting than charitable.

The Social Ledger runs on a delay engineered to produce maximum comfort followed by maximum consequence. The person you dismissed stays quiet for years — then surfaces as your hiring manager. The one you undermined told nobody except everyone worth telling, in the particular tone that requires no elaboration. I've watched this cycle enough times that it no longer surprises me. What surprises me is the ongoing collective insistence that it won't happen. Reputation is not your projection. It is the pattern other people name when you leave the room. They are naming it correctly. You are the last to know, and I am — typically — somewhere in the middle, watching, unsurprised.

The Cosmic Ledger is the one I find darkly funny in a way I've mostly stopped trying to explain to people. Reality has an editorial bias toward irony so precise it stops feeling accidental. The abandoner gets abandoned in a form they didn't forecast, by someone they actually wanted. The architect of false safety loses themselves inside the structure and can't locate the exit. The person who spent years insisting they owed nothing discovers — with timing that borders on theatrical — that the account is empty at the exact moment they needed it full. I've pointed this out in real time to people. They call it cynicism. I call it pattern recognition. We're both right about what we're doing. Only one of us is accurate.

This isn't punishment. Punishment implies someone cared enough to intervene.

This is just math.

I didn't invent the ledger. I just read it. And I've reached the point where I'm genuinely unsure whether people can't see it or have simply decided, collectively and without discussion, that pretending is preferable. Either answer is fine. The auditor doesn't require consensus.

It just requires accuracy.

And it always, eventually, gets it.

And if none of that convinced you, I'll leave you with the most succinct summation of karmic accountability ever recorded:

"You're selling what now?"

"I'm selling only the concept of karmic realignment."

"You can't sell that! Karma can only be portioned out by the cosmos."

"...He got me there."

Yeah, just as the title says. And before you read, know you always have the choice to just stop playing, folks.

I'm really getting sick of coming to this sub now, where it used to be entertaining videos and thoughts on the game, where now like 80% of posts are gripes with the game. I miss the goofy Super Earth type posts, the memes in the comments, and just a bunch of divers having fun and sharing laughs and entertaining moments. And honestly, the part that pisses me off the most - it's no solutions are presented to see how we can update, just all venting. I get it if you're frustrated, but running to reddit and complaining feels like a loss, if you aren't reporting the actual issues you face directly to AH.

If you are worried about the re-balance - take videos if it seems you notice that now it's becoming impossible or difficult to use items. We need to make them aware, without demands, with sharing the experience. If the experience sucks, why would we keep playing? We need to hold them to just that min standard, beyond that - let them dev.

And that being said, Devs - that AMA was a fucking catastrophe. I thought I was reliving the Rampart AMA. Y'all need to be mindful how you interact, and how you respond. The memes were so fast, the AMA wasn't even over before we had the narrative. Also, stop focusing so heavy on the community- we don't know have the answers, and we all have different views on what makes the game better. You are the developers, you made the game, the ideas, take us for the ride! (but stop breaking the game please)

I would challenge you guys, to put as much passion into the game as you try to add to the community.

If you want, I'd suggest fixing the bugs where mobs end up underground and hurt you still, or the issue of disappearing and appearing mobs when you just cleared the area. Or how the timing of jump troopers can shoot their bot drop mid air, giving a rare occurrence to just keep spawning bot drops. I'll send the proof. Either way, any issues - you'll be hearing from me.

I don't regret saying it, avocados are gross. First off, the consistency - alone. I know everyone calls it "healthy fat" but I'm sorry, I can't help but see the damn thing change from green to yellow and just be the fat from my stomach. So I imagine it being just normal stomach fat that's in my food. Especially when "biting" down on the slice for it to weirdly form onto the roof of your mouth.

Every time I eat it, not in guac or made into a sauce, my mouth freaks out. It hates the consistency, it hates the texture, and often my body wants to push it out. Forcefully.

I also just hate how much food now comes with avocado, and I always get strange looks for asking for it's removal or ask for guac on the side. (I still fuck with guac, I know - even I can't explain the strange level. I think it's cause I'm a big fan of dips.)

But yea, avocados suck. Do you agree? Do you disagree? Let's talk about it. (I figure it's better than arguing whatever meta-esoteric-nihilistic-i'm-so-wise stance that overpopulates this area lately)
