I’m the CSO of an AI-tech startup. We’ve spent the last month perfecting a private system that solves a massive revenue leak for local businesses (specifically high-volume service and hospitality).
The product is built. The "Pain Point" is universal. Now I need the legs.

The Setup:
The Mission: Local canvassing. Walking into businesses, identifying the leak, and closing the fix.
The Target: Busy owners who are currently "elbow-deep" and losing money every time their phone rings.
The Comp: I'm offering a founder-tier payout for the first 5 reps. 100% of the first month's revenue goes to you. Plus a lifetime residual tail.

The Product:
I’m keeping the details off the public thread to protect the niche, but it’s a "Day 1" utility. It solves the missed-call/lost-lead problem without requiring complex IT integrations. It’s an easy "yes" for any owner who actually cares about their bottom line.

Who I’m looking for:
If you need a base salary or a script to read from a desk, keep scrolling. I need people who can walk into a shop, find the decision-maker, and talk business. If you can close 20 deals a month, you’re looking at a $6k+ monthly payday plus your residuals.
If you’re a closer and you’re hungry for a "no-glaze" tech play, DM me. Tell me what you’ve sold and what territory you’re in. I’ll send the link and details to the right people.

I’m currently the CSO for a private AI startup. We’ve spent the last month building a voice-intelligence utility that solves the "missed call" revenue leak for local service businesses (restaurants/repair shops).

We’re moving away from a traditional dealer model to go direct-to-business, and I’m testing a "Founder-Tier" compensation structure to scale to our first 100 accounts quickly.

The Model I'm testing:
• Reps get 100% of the first month's revenue upfront
10% lifetime residual on the back end.
• No base, but the sales cycle is 1-2 days and the "pain" we solve is universal.

My Questions for the sub:

  1. For those of you doing boots-on-the-ground SMB sales, is 100% upfront enough of a "hook" to skip the base salary, or is it too aggressive?
  2. Has anyone here had success with high-upfront/low-residual models in the local hospitality niche?
