
We purchased a pair of Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H100 (Brown) headphones in Hong Kong as a very special gift for someone who had been dreaming about them for a long time. Since it was a present, the box wasn’t opened or checked on the spot.
Then came the long-awaited moment. The person excitedly opened the box… only to discover that the headphones were not working at all. They don’t charge, there is no power — essentially a clear initial defect right out of the box.
We immediately contacted support, hoping for a simple replacement or refund, especially considering this is a premium product. Unfortunately, we were refused both.
We are deeply disappointed. For a brand positioned as premium, both the product quality control and customer support experience have been extremely underwhelming. It is heartbreaking to see such a beautiful, expensive item turn out to be non-functional, almost like something from a much cheaper category.
Very disappointed and honestly disillusioned with the experience.
