Beo Grace Battery Stats
I have received my pair of Beo Grace today.
Tested them and the battery lasts about 3.3 hours at 50% volume on a full charge with ANC on.
How long does your Beo Grace last?
Wanna collect data from you guys and see how close it gets to the company claim of 4.5 hours with ANC.
Beoplay HX issues & recommendation request
First of all, the beoplay HX are thé worst headphones I have ever owned. Bought them a couple of years ago to replace my beoplay H4, the best headphones I've ever owned. More than twice the price, and they were shit from the start. So I kept using my H4s until one ear completely broke a few days ago.
I was forced to switch to the HX, which were basically my reserves at that point. The sound is awful, the range is awful, and when I connect it to my phone, it constantly causes any youtube video or podcast to pause & unpause all the time. If I wanted to spend more than 50% of my time actually listening to something, I have to manually push to right ear to unpause every 10 seconds when it automatically pauses.
I feel like I'm in a headphone limbo currently because the h4 are discontinued, I would've stocked up for life otherwise. I bought €40 soundcore headphones off amazon for my son, and they're a massive upgrade to my €600 HX in every single regard, but still nowhere near as good as the beoplay H4. Does anybody who actually owned a pair of beoplay H4 know of any very similar headphones? Preferably under €1000, the cheaper the better.
Thanks.
Which speakers to match beosystem 5500
I recently purchased a used beosystem 5500 that I didn’t have experience with. I was thinking to connect it with my beolab 4000 or 6000 active speaker but found that I’ll lost the control thru beo master panel. So I’m asking for advice of which passive speakers would be a good fit? I won’t consider old B&O speakers which are too big for my small bedroom. Will compact B&W book shelf speakers be a good fit too? Thanks.
Beo Grace New Colour!
Honey Tone just dropped for the earbuds! IMO the silver natural aluminium looks better and more timeless, but this is still cool nonetheless.
Looking for new headphones
I own a pair of Beoplay H4 2nd Gen headphones, and while they have excellent sound quality, atleast in my opinion, as reviews are mixed, they’re starting to get uncomfortable, and I primarily use them on my pc, so needing to keep them plugged into my desktops audio port, which is quite far, is rather annoying…
I’m no audiophile, but I enjoy good quality for uncompressed music, such as king crimson or the Europa Universalis soundttack, I like my headphones to have a natural sound profile, nothing distorted…
I’m a working professional, but also an autistic adult, and my auditory-based sensory issues have been worse as of late, so I was thinking about a pair with active noise cancelation - although I think my motherboard supports an integrated noise cancelling feature so im not sure if I need that 100%
And also id really like Dolby Atmos, which these don’t have
Unfortunately, im not interested choosing between $750 and $2200 for what at those price ranges would be considered mediocre, so does anyone have any recommendations for me?
