Already during the initial setup, before the first ride, the seatpost was extremely hard to move — I could barely raise or lower it. Since the saddle height was more or less okay, I left it as it was.

After the first ride (or maybe while checking my hood position afterward and sitting on the bike), the seatpost dropped slightly. Now I can’t raise it back up at all.

Even if I fully loosen the seatpost clamp, it won’t slide upward when I pull. But under body weight it can still move downward.

It seems like the internal wedge/clamp mechanism is still engaged or stuck and not fully releasing.

Has anyone had this issue with the Giant D-Fuse system? Any safe way to free it without risking damage to the carbon seatpost?
