New FSAE EV Brake Lead needs compatibility check

Hey everyone,

I am new to this and currently serving as the Brake System Lead for an FSAE EV car in Puerto Rico (Capstone 1). Before moving into my final Phase B presentation, I need a quick sanity check to see if my core components make sense together and if there are any obvious compatibility issues.

Here are my main winning selections from my trade studies:

  1. Pedal Assembly: Wilwood 340-15076 (Tru-Bar system, 5.1:1 ratio) (p. 7).
  2. Master Cylinders: Twin Wilwood 260-10372 (3/4" bore) mounted via the Tru-Bar for dual-circuit compliance (pp. 7-8).
  3. Calipers: Wilwood 120-16438 (4.12 in² piston area) (p. 10).
  4. Rotors / Discs: Wilwood 160-11217 (10.50 in, 0.78 in / Super Alloy / 24 vanes) (p. 9).

My Constraints:

  • Target 1.5 g deceleration (p. 20).
  • Must withstand a 2000 N panic pedal load (Rule T.3.2.2) (p. 20).
  • Packaging Concern: Our Suspension Lead designed a custom SLA setup inside 13-inch rims. This 10.50" rotor gives us a tight 1.25" radial gap against the rim before adding the caliper clearance.

Do these core components make sense together? Am I missing any critical structural compatibility issue between these specific parts?

Thanks for the help!
