You terrible people finally convinced me to take the plunge. (Unrelated that I finally found a Civ build I feel stands a chance)
I won 2/5 and began at Bronze 1. I was surprised to win 2 but I suspect that is due to coming in day 1? I have a few questions.
I am using an FC Ayyabid build that gives me a good start. I then pump out units and get aggressive. If the game is not lost I then build battering rams. Things get messy after that as I do not know how to build from there. If I simply add production buildings and spam more units (worked in game 6) will that carry me for some time? In the last game I did build a 2nd TC but honestly I flailed around throwing vills at eco and trying to keep them busy. (and failing) I won by wearing my opponent out and I am wondering if that is the way to go for now?
Separate question - I am pretty sure I lost points in a win. Does that happen?
