I don’t remember all the details of the fic but after all might uses the last of one for all he gets a gun license for self protection, and while getting something from a store, the store gets robbed, he pulls his gun, shoots the rubber with a rubber bullet while saying Texas smash

it’s going to either be on FanFiction.Net or archive of our own. It was a longer story not just one or two chapters but that’s the only part I really remember.
