So I believe existence ultimately guarantees suffering, so bringing a child into this world where pain is guaranteed but pleasure/joy/peace is not, is selfish and unethical. I think the same thing applies to a god, if it did create us knowing how the world is I don't think it can be merciful.

I know most of us are atheists but if god did exist, what do you think?
