I'm about 18 months into my lease, EX FWD.
Last summer the tire pressure displays showed 43-45 for all 4 tires. This was when temperatures were well over 80 degrees.
Over the winter, it dropped to 36-38 and so far this spring, it's been at most 39 when temps are about 75-80.
I was going to use the pump but it's kind of a PITA and I didn't like going to gas stations.
So I had to do the screen software update recall and when I took it into a local dealer, the service advisor says he already has it on the list to the mechanic to check and fill up the tires.
When I picked up the car -- after 2-3 hours after he'd said they might need to keep it all day or over night -- the display was in orange and showed no pressure reading and the Hondalink app showed 32 for all 4 tires!
I drove off the dealer lot and figure it would eventually update but then decided I better ask about this.
So the guy went and checked and filled my tires and then he wanted to check the menus to reset the tire readings but he couldn't find it.
He told me the tires are good now and the display should update on its own. It still was orange on the car display with no numbers and 32 in the Hondalink app.
So I dug in the menus more and found something like Release Tire Pressure. It ran for a good 3-4 minutes and it started to show 43 on one and 44 on the others.
The Hondalink app didn't update right away. It was 38-39 and I kept refreshing over and over again and it eventually caught up.
Oh and the App still shows the red banner telling me to get the software update for the center display.
I guess legacy car manufacturers have some ways to go with software development.
