I have been in the customer service queue on Whatsapp for days now and little hope that I get picked up at some point. So, checking in to see if someone here might know this as I did not find this answer on the Air France site itself. We are booked on an intercontinental flight to Paris in July, together with our 16 and 15 year old boys. I booked all 4 of us in the exit rows but all of a sudden started to wonder whether our 15 year old is even allowed there. Fun fact; he's taller and heavier than his older brother, but still... Not 16. Some googling says 15 is OK, but can't find it anywhere officially mentioned. So, while I wait for Air France to get back to me, someone on here maybe has the answer?
