Notice for Leaving Job for MSc

Hi,

I am leaving a job in analytics with a MLB team at the end of June, so in about 7 weeks, to pursue a masters in statistics. I was wondering when I should let them know that I am leaving? Is 2 weeks good enough or should I let them know earlier?

I am an at-will employee so I am leaning towards 2 weeks so that I also have protection from them letting me go early. My apartment lease ends mid-July but am planning on leaving late June so I can have some extra time to relax and travel before going to school.

Thanks

Hi all,

I am going to take a weekend trip to San Diego. Going to be there from Thursday night to Sunday late afternoon. I am driving in from Phoenix with just myself and my 4-year-old pug. Going to be staying in La Mesa as I got a couple of free nights there.

What are some things I should make sure I do? I have never been to San Diego, so I want to hit the best places. Definitely want a good mix of sightseeing, good food options, nature/ocean, and a somewhat easy but great hike or two.

I am going to the Padres game on Saturday, starting at 5:40. So, I will have to take my dog back to where I am staying. Should I take the trolley down to the game, as driving in might be really hectic/expensive? Was also planning to go to a bar or two outside the stadium after the game, if anybody has good recs.

I have been told that Coronado, Point Loma, and Balboa Park are great. Was also looking at driving along the ocean up to Torrey Pines. Any places I should stop along the way or a little farther out?

I would like to take my dog with me to most places, but if there are some other things that would not take extremely long/not too far from La Mesa that would be worth it that aren't dog-friendly, I would take those recs as well.

Thanks in advance!
