My best attempt at making a film recipe, curious to know your thoughts. All shot on X-T5 (recipe on last slide)

Although I posted a few attempts at creating an almost versatile, everyday film recipe, they've all left me rather feeling like they lacked something.

Recently though, I feel like I nailed an (almost) all-purpose, nostalgic feeling film recipe.

Introducing "Omni-Nostalgia": a film recipe meant to give an omnipresent feeling of nostalgia in your everyday shots.

Loosely based on warm negative film stock like Kodak Gold 200, however with a softer contrast and toned down saturation. Where the warmth is present, but not overpowering.

This recipe thrives in sunlight at all times of day, and also holds its own in ambient lighting. The only setting where I feel this recipe is inefficient is cloudy weather: the images are flat and lacking contrast.

Nonetheless, for everyday snaps, especially since summer is coming up, this will be my daily recipe.

I'd love to know what you think!

Film Simulation: Nostalgic Negative

Grain: Strong , Large

Color Chrome: Strong

Color Chrome Blue: Weak

Dynamic Range: 400

White Balance: Auto, R+2, B-2

Color: 0

Highlights: -2

Shadows: 0

Sharpness: -2

High ISO NR: -4

Clarity: 0
