My partner and are going to Las Vegas in June and we would like to visit the Grand Canyon and some nearby national parks.

Our initial plan is:

Day 1: Leave Las Vegas early by car, heading to Page with a stop at Zion National Park. Spend the night in Page.

Day 2: Leave Page early for the Grand Canyon South Rim. Explore and hike as much as possible, then drive back to Las Vegas for the night.

The question is: is this doable? ls the schedule too tight? Should we prioritize something differently? This is our first trip to the US, and we want to make the most of our time, even if it's limited. Our main goal for this road trip is the Grand Canyon, everything else is a bonus.
