After getting into singing this past year, I found this absolute masterpiece by Steve Perry, and have loved trying my best to recreate his style. I'm a huge fan of Journey, Queen, Boston, etc., so replicating that range of sound and power is a goal of mine.
Still working on smoothing between the chest/mixed/head registers while keeping a consistent tone, and trying to avoid strain as much as possible. If anyone has advice from listening, I'd appreciate feedback!
Also, this was recorded with a headset mic, so please beware of the peaking, sorry!
