Promotion for track sales rather than playlists.
Hello all, I release techno music and while Spotify is important for promo I'd like to start targeting more on the downloads side on the likes of Beatport.
I interested in what others are doing to try and promote their music. I know that Ads can be important if done well but can also get pretty expensive. Getting big DJs to chart your release would be the golden ticket but also tough.
Outside of pure social media posting what are others doing to try and generate music sales? Thanks for any input!
