I estranged a sister many years ago, after years of verbal abuse and bullying. It was hard but necessary for my mental health. I even sought therapy at the beginning but I’ve come to terms with the fact, and I have no desire or need to rekindle any relationship with her. My husband still texts holiday messages to her and I don’t get it. We live in different States, we have no chance to run into each other or ever be in the same place. I’ve asked him not to do this and he continues. He was never particularly close with sister and her husband, I think it’s more a need to be “the good guy”. I’m angry he does this. AITA?
