Requesting Advise as a New student. Plz help
Hi everyone
I am a new student to SFU enrolled in part-time online studies. I work full-time and this is my first ever formal education in Canada. I did read the modules or getting started but I am concerned about many things that I don't know if they are acceptable or not.
I don't know if I can use AI to study, summary and learn while I have canva open. In regular life and work I use AI to learn things like Claude, notebookLm, chat gpt.
Is Grammarly okay to use as we are deducted for grammar and spelling mistakes too.
For discussions where I have to write on Canvas, can I write on my phone or laptop and then copy paste there ? Is that okay ? It would be my own writing.
Shall I discuss all of these with my professor via. email or zoom meet ?
I do have a diagnosed ADHD too and I read SFU has some support for it. Shall I tell them or through CIL website.
Anything else you guys can add that might be useful to me. Thanks.
