Due to my poor mental state at the time of filing taxes I totally forgot to file for 2022. Fast forward to end of February I got a letter in the mail saying they were holding my 2025 taxes until I got this resolved. I filed immediately, faxed it in on March 3rd of this year. I got a CP518 notice last week saying they didn’t receive my taxes yet. It’s been 8 weeks & im beyond frustrated. I’m waiting for a callback from the IRS to figure out what happened. I even have proof it was sent successfully.

Has this happened to anyone else?
