I have 7 figure 8 puffers and all of them but one are healthy and active. But I have one that just keeps laying between a rock and glass quickly breathing. He’s not there 24/7 but definitely enough to have me worried. Can’t figure out if it’s just stress or if he’s sick. I did have an ammonia spike a couple days ago and wonder if that’s why. I also added an eel to the tank last night which I’m sure is stressing him but the other puffers don’t care about the eel. Has anyone else had a figure 8 act this way? If I put my finger to the glass he swims away but will be back to this spot in a few mins

Crazy how much moss grows in just 1.5 months. Can’t believe how empty my tank looked. Also I now have 30+ shrimplets which is awesome. Can’t wait to watch them grow.

Finally have 7 figure 8 puffers in my 75 gal tank and it all makes sense now why they say these fish are amazing. They are so hard to stop watching. Each one is a different personality and they all have their own “qwerks. I plan to get 3 more or an eel. Haven’t decided yet but the 2 knight gobbys I got too are thriving. I had done a live cycle with mollies and fiddler crabs which the offers have already discovered……they really really want the crabs haha. I love these dang fish! I’ve done so much research over the weeks that’s I feel like I know what to do. But deep down i know I don’t. Any feedback is appreciated!!
