So It seems like Instagram is one of the last social media platforms to share their ad revenue with creators.

Bonus Program is still active, but is invite only and can get removed at any point.

I know a creator that posts reels, but most of his money comes from Carousel news style posts. he makes around 10k a month, he has close to 1m, followers, but his carousel engagement is like 1/4th of the reel engagements, but he posts enough to make a lot.

Question is when, if not when, why not?

I'm very annoyed by the fact I can't generate any ad revenue from my instagram account. I can understand that some pages are literally just posting film scenes, but if YouTube can do it, why can't Instagram.

Even tiktok has a creator program. it just doesn't make sense to me.

I have 504K Followers on Instagram. In a Film Niche, primarily Pop Culture films.

HP, SW, Marvel etc.

With some other popular shows and movies.

I sell wallpapers atm. did around 218$ this month, selling wallpapers for around 3-4$.

I want to increase my margins, but also maybe sell a product that has more appeal to my followers/viewers.

Should I set up my own POD via printify or prinftful or partner with a business as an affiliate with 20-25% affiliate deal.

Any one have experience in this?
