full body workout and cardio reccomendations

Hello i just started going to the gym a week ago, im 6'3 250 pounds and as of rn im just doing full body for 3-5 hours 3 days a week (i kind of just go from machine to machine doing about 3 sets of everything) and id hit each thing at least 3x while there passing time. question 1 is just will this be a bad plan long term? and are there any specific recommendations for a full body workout thats better than just spamming every machine? my main goal rn is to get down to 200 from 250 and build muscle onto a more lean slim frame instead of bulky muscle. which is also where the cardio question comes in. i usually do 7.0 incline on 3.0-3.5 speed for 15 minutes. should i be doing more? i only do 15 minutes because i have an imbalance on my left side so usually my right leg works alot harder than the left so i just train the muscles with machines instead of spamming cardio. i dont track calories but i only eat once a day most days so ik im definitely staying below my limit. and on top of that i just take a scoop of protein powder. as far as the full body workout if possible i would prefer workouts that will help my imbalance as its the entire left side and not just an arm or leg. also while im here are "unilateral" exercises a non negotiable for fixing this imbalance? i keep hearing that word while researching how to fix it but if possible id rather stay on machines since they help alot with form as im new.

so basically i just started going to the gym 2 days ago because im trying to stop being a fat slob and i quickly noticed my left arm is slightly smaller than my right. on top of that in like every workout i feel it more on the right side than the left afterwards when i thought that logically wouldnt make sense if the left side is weaker? even on the incline treadmill the burn is noticeably worse on my right leg. furthermore when i do bent over dumbbell rows on the left side that leg gets a sharp pain around the pelvic/hip area and i was wondering if i just needed to maybe strengthen that side first? im 6'3ish (havent measured since i was like 15) and 250 and sad to say i havent been much active since like covid. its gotten so bad i dont think ive even ran since then so im starting from scratch, and was also wondering if i need to track workouts or not? these last two days i kind of just hit everything both times and now resting today and tomorrow. so can i just hit everything everytime, rest a few days and repeat.
