How i’m feeling post solo-mothers day expo/running shift

noticed the salad line lady wasn’t receiving the app tickets at the start of the shift (they print to both sides it’s annoying but helpful in these moments) so i was like “hey did u see the *insert app* she says no so i go and look at her printer … girl had been getting red streaks on her tickets for like an hour i was like “oye eso significa que tienes que cambiar el papel … antes de que pase esto” (you gotta change the paper before this happens) … great start to the shift … also had people ordering shit to the bar and THEN GOING OUTSIDE

anyone else hate brushing their teeth but the routine of dental cleanings brings you comfort ? I also kinda enjoy the pain during the intense parts of the cleaning lol.

I’m sitting here on my bed and my body is just so exhausted I’m sure once i’m used to working more double shifts I should be able to add running in the mornings but it sucks because I want to go out and run but then I risk not being able to run for even longer because i’ll be even more tired. for context i’ll be working 10-2 and 5-10 4-5 days a week this summer so I can save some money but now i’m so scared to lose my fitness 😭. Thought doing long run on my one day off would be good but it just sucked all the energy out of me for the next few days….. My new plan to avoid this is to run max 4 miles but maybe add a few 2 milers before my doubles ?? I work as a server so i’m on my feet the whole day so it’s not like i’m at a desk job but i’ve made SO MUCH progress with my pace i don’t want to lose it AHH.
