I will be arriving in Nara just before sunset and am staying for one night. Presumably, once I’ve checked in and dropped my bags, it’ll be dark. Is the park still worth going to? If so which temples are best and what do you guys recommend?

I’m going to be in Kyoto around the 13th for 4 days, looking for a duffle bag to take on my domestic flight to Ishigaki (going to luggage transfer my suitcase on to Tokyo for my last stop). Any recommendations for stores to check out for up to ¥35,000? I’ll also be staying in Osaka briefly but would prefer to do shopping in Kyoto.
