Help needed
I got this walking pad a few months ago, and it broke after only one month of use. The company said they would send me a replacement because there was something wrong with the motor that couldn’t be fixed. I waited two months for the new one.
I opened the replacement about two weeks ago and stored it under my bed, so I wasn’t using it at all. Today, I walked on it for around half an hour and started hearing sounds like the ones in the video. I stopped and added oil because I thought lubrication might be the issue.
The manual says to add oil through the port shown in the picture I attached, but it doesn’t explain how to open it, so I had no idea what to do. Instead, I added the oil underneath on both sides under the belt.
After that, I walked on it again for a few minutes and heard a noise similar to the one the previous walking pad made before it broke. I stopped immediately because now I’m afraid to use it.
I’m not experienced with this at all, so I’d really appreciate any help. In the video, you can hear the smaller sounds, but the louder noise I heard, almost like rubbing or dragging isn’t in the recording. I also lifted the belt as much as I could so you can see how tight is it.
Could the belt be too tight or not centered properly? Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks!
Is feeding stray animals vegan?
Hey, I have been a vegetarian for 5 years, vegan from this year.
I'm struggling with buying animal treats and food to feed the strays in my country. They are literally starving everyday so I must feed them, I try to feed them bread but I'm not sure if that's okay for their health. Should I stop buying dog/ cat treets and food, or should I keep doing it? Thoughts?
Edit: I did some research and read your suggestions, and I decided to cook food for them and only use dog/cat food if absolutely needed, cats more than dogs. If I see that they're not interested in the cooked food I will give them cat food only then. I presume that the ones that are already custom to animal food will resist the cooked food but I will keep trying. Thank you to all
Edit 2: .I live in shitsville, so there are very little to almost no vegan foods for humans here, except obviously veggies and stuff for cooking. But There is absolutely zero vegan food for pets, so I can't buy it.
