Any csit diploma schlorship holders? I have few qns abit this schlorship.

Hi everyone, I’m a Year 2 cybersecurity& digital forensics poly student and I have some questions about the CSIT Diploma Scholarship. I’d really appreciate any advice from seniors or anyone with experience 🙏

Context: The scholarship states that awardees must complete a 6-month internship with CSIT, and they specifically mention that they do not offer a 1-year internship.

I believe (correct me if I’m wrong) that in Year 3 we can either do:

• 6-month internship + specialisation, OR
• 1-year internship

Q1: If I get the scholarship and complete the required 6-month CSIT internship, what should I do for the remaining 6 months?

• Does that mean I must take a specialisation?
• Or can I choose to do another 6-month internship at a different company (e.g. 6 months at CSIT + 6 months elsewhere)?
• What would be the best option in terms of learning and career prospects?

Q2: Which option is better in terms of GPA and overall outcomes?

- 6 months CSIT internship + another 6-month internship at a different company

• 6 months CSIT internship + specialisation
• 1-year internship (without taking the scholarship)

Does doing two internships affect GPA differently compared to internship + specialisation or a full 1-year internship? Which is generally “safer” for GPA?

Q3: The scholarship mentions that we should not hold any other bursary/scholarship. I’ve already applied for my np bursary — what should I do in this situation? Should I withdraw it if I get the CSIT scholarship?
