So, I've got fiber internet from ATT, all good. I initially had some issues when I wanted to install it so some guy came to our door asking if all went well etc. Then I said, you know what? Why don't you give me and my wife Wireless for the phones as we had prepaid and their services were sh*t. Alright, he activated the esim for my wife, my phone was not compatible with ATT networks so I had to get a new one and didn't actvate the line for me. I asked what are the rates and he somehow bypassed the question and said something like " I'm not sure you have to see the bill and you'll probably get some discount because you also have internet from us". Alright then, keep your secrets. After 7 days the bill appeared in my account and it was like 213$ just for Wireless and it was way too much for this kind of service, for both lines. So I immediately ported to another provider for Wireles, for like 50$ / month. Excellent. Talked with ATT via chat and they said, good:" you cancelled in less than 14 days, you are eligible for a prorated charge and qualified for 14 days buyer's remorse. We can go ahead and set the cancellation today so you won't be charged for the whole month only the days it was active." And I said perfect. Now, after 3 weeks the payment of 213$ (for the full month) is due. I called support they bs me that it's not possible to change anything as the account was cancelled, you have to pay the whole sum. I tried to call the guy that activated it and said he will answer me anytime or call me back if he's busy, immediately. I called him twice no answer.

I really feel scammed here just for using a service for 1 week, just one line, and being forced to pay it in full.

Anyone encountered similar issues? Solutions? Thank you!
