Applying for a UK Skilled Worker visa and trying to sort out the photo. Looked at the official guidance and it says "follow the same rules as a UK passport photo" - but then other sources say the dimensions and background requirements are different for visa applications vs passport renewal.
Took a photo that passed the gov.uk passport checker but the visa application portal flagged it anyway. No explanation, just wouldn't let me proceed.
Are the photo requirements actually different for UK visa vs UK passport? And is there a tool that specifically checks for visa applications rather than just passport specs?
