A week ago on Saturday I had to jump off a ladder and landed mostly flat on my feet, slight roll on my left foot. 6-8ft drop. I was able to keep moving for 20 minutes or so before I retired back inside.

For the next 3 days I was unable to put weight on my foot and did the common google remedy advice. Swelling and bruising was consistent with what I've seen with a sprain. Pain on day 1 was a 4/10, pain on day 2 and 3 was a 0.5/10. No pain after, just a discomfort with walking.

Used my sisters boot on day 4, and transistioned to crutches and a wrapped foot in tennis shoes on day 5. Days 6-7 walking with a wrapped foot, my limp slowly improved. This past weekend, days 8 and 9 I logged 15k steps and only minor discomfort. Day 11 bruising around the heel and sides of the foot disappeared although slight swelling and bruising around the toes remain. The more I move the better it feels.

The specialist I contacted has me 2 weeks out for an appointment but im pretty much considering canceling just because the progress. Does this sound like a bad roll or minor sprain? Would it be normal to be able to be that active again if the was a break or grade 2/3 sprain?
