I am a little confused on how people are 100% sure manons hiatus is forced on her
Last edit: I think this post might be being misunderstood: I’m not saying that the company for sure didn’t kick her out, I’m saying I’m confused why this is the only possibility. Also confused why they would spend so much time and effort to recruit and train her just to kick her off
Hello everyone, let me just start this off by saying I love all of the girls. I feel like everyone thinks this hiatus is forced on her, but I don’t understand why this is automatically assumed. When I see a greedy company like hybe, I don’t see any financial incentive to kick manon off, as they will lose all of the money from the people that saw her as representation not supporting the group anymore, and they spent so much time and effort to recruit and train her. Why would they do that just to kick her off? Also she had that Weverse message that said that this was unexpected, and I just took that to mean that she might not have expected what the idol life was like, that she might not have expected katseyes concept or all of the hate, or she just changed her mind. Also there could’ve been racism or a feud behind the scenes resulting in her to leave, but to me it’s very unlikely that she’s just being kicked out. I 100% support her if she wanted to leave bc the 7 year contracts are crazyyyyy.
Some edits: the exact wording of the message is “some things unfold in ways we don’t fully control” I still took that as could meaning that she wasn’t happy with reasons I listed earlier, like the concept or fan hate, and “couldn’t control” how those played out
Also I just assumed that saying the hiatus was for health reasons was for her mental health, and her saying she was healthy just meant she was physically fine
