Hi all, and thanks for your help on this - pulling into my driveway the first time (it has a big slope downwards to pull in), I believe I scraped the undercarriage, near the middle of the car.
The scrapes are in these grey-ish panels in the middle of the car. I've felt the scrape, and the panel feels like plastic (I can pull off a scraped piece and it is gummy).
ChatGPT says these are aluminum underbody components that cover heatshielding for the exhaust, so I am concerned (even through that doesn't make sense, why would the exhaust be in the middle of the car).
