Hi! So i just got my first Espresso setup and now need help dialing in my beans (or dialing in beans in general). If any steps in the Video are unclear please just ask! I use 16.3g medium roast 100% arabica to around 36g of espresso. Because my stock portafilter came with a IMS Comp basket i tried using more but the machines showerhead screw always punctured the puck causing loads of channeling... I think that the coffee runs a bit fast with these settings but i'm also not really sure what i'm looking for. I also don't really know yet when my coffee is too bitter or too sour. What advice would yall give me for my ritual? thanks in advance!
