caught shoplifting with African parents
[PLEASE RESPOND] i'm a 16 year old boy and for some reason I was in Walmart with my mothers card getting groceries but for whatever reason I got the temptation to steal so I stuffed a pair of earbuds and an charger into my pocket and even drank a Starbucks glass coffee then threw it away when I was done I paid for the groceries I was originally supposed to get but when I was about to leave when someone asked me to come with them as they needed to have a talk I went into the Walmart office and they said they caught me on the security cameras stealing they called my mother and 13 year old sister into the office
My mother was furious telling the person how we have money and she is so ashamed she even tried to take videos of the security footage to send to my dad and the rest of my family but they refused to let her they didn't find out about the charger but found out about the drink and earbuds and told me that I was lucky because I was 26 cents off from being put in jail they let me off with a warning and 24 hour ban from Walmart agreeing that this wouldn't be put on my record the Walmart employees talked about how well dressed I was and how I have good grades and a good future ahead of me because I was handsome as well.But now my parents are extremely mad they took away my phone and school iPad she called me a disgrace and failure that I deserved to rot in prison and my father told me that if I spoke again he would punch the shit out of me which he has done before so I know he's not lying
Now I don't know what to do my mom is telling the whole family and as she has said they all are disgusted I don't want to end up in jail I actually was thinking of being a lawyer but idk what to do I try to keep my head down and do what I have to do as summer is coming up but honestly I'm scared that ill go to jail somewhere down the line as well as how my whole family will look at me now my sister was actually laughing when I got caught and my mother expresses she dosent care about me anymore as before this she found out that I watched porn and told me that now she only looks as me as a porn watching thief in her home.
I don't know what to do me having no access to my phone means that I can no longer text the girl I was talking to and makes it harder to do homework they also were making a big deal before this about me wanting to have a job but now I'm almost certain they won't allow me to work as they say that I will steal there too please help and give me advice because I don't know what to do
[EDIT]: also was wondering if anyone could relate to this story or would give advice on when you think id get my phone back as I really wanna talk to this girl is on the verge of being my girlfriend as well as how to handle the rest of the family looking at me differently
