I didn’t like any of the clipboard managers I tried, so I built my own.

I’ve tried multiple clipboard managers over the years, but there was always something missing.

It’s been a while, but the ones that stuck with me were Jumpcut, which couldn’t save images, and Maccy, which felt quite expensive for someone outside the U.S.

So I built YZZO: an open source, offline first clipboard manager with a one time lifetime purchase model.

I actually released it a while ago, but decided to finally share it here.

It’s available at yzzo.app, and I’d love your feedback on it.

Just got my first user and I don't know which app to focus marketing on

I just got my first user from Reddit and honestly I’m really happy about it.

At the same time, now I’m a bit lost trying to figure out where I should focus my marketing efforts. Reddit brought me my first real user, but I’m also posting on other social media platforms in different ways and trying to stay consistent there too.

Right now it feels like I’m spreading my time across too many channels without knowing what’s actually worth doubling down on yet.

For those who are building apps/products:
How did you decide where to focus your acquisition efforts early on? Did you go all-in on the first channel that worked, or keep experimenting across multiple platforms for a while?

I created a subreddit to talk directly with users of my app. How do you collect feedback?

I’m building an iOS productivity app called r/minosia and recently created a subreddit to have a more direct place to talk with users, share updates, discuss features, pricing, and collect feedback.

I already added a native “Report a Bug / Send Feedback” feature inside the app, but it honestly feels too hidden and most users never seem to use it.

Curious how other indie iOS developers here handle feedback and community building.

Do you rely on Reddit, Discord, email, in-app forms, TestFlight groups, or something else?

I created a subreddit to chat directly with users of my app

I’ve been building Minosia, a simple app for reminders, notes, and organizing daily stuff without the complexity of tools like Notion or Obsidian.

I just created a subreddit r/minosia to share updates, get feedback, discuss features, pricing, and talk directly with users.

If you like lightweight productivity apps or use WhatsApp to save things to yourself, you’ll probably relate.

Would love to have you there and hear your feedback.

Cualquier experiencia real o aprendizaje me sirve muchísimo.

Trying to discover note-taking apps outside the usual recommendations.

Not looking for the mainstream stack like Notion, Obsidian, Apple Notes, Evernote, etc.

I’m more interested in niche apps, unusual workflows, minimalist tools, and offline-first apps.

What are you using and why did it stick? I’ve been using Notesnook for a while, but lately I’ve been wanting something more minimalist, so I am looking for alternatives.
