Gen 6 Glock 19 COA with Pearce grip extension (PG-19G5). The extension doesn't cause it to print more and it gives you more surface area to grab on the draw.
Only upgrade to this thing is the C&H speed feed pro weighted brass plus. Carry it in a Velo5 and the added weight doesn't make any difference with a nice belt.
Gen 6 Glock 19 COA
For no real reason at all I've been dodging the Glock 19.
I have 6 + 1 Glocks now. In my collection I have a G26, G43X, G45, G42 and G29. I had picked out a G19 for my then girlfriend, now fiance so I just never got one for myself.
I've been carrying the G26 with either a Pearce extension or X-Grip which I do love but will now probably be my summer carry. The G43X is my dedicated night carry gun with a Surefire XSC. The G45 with the RCR and X300 will stay on nightstand duty and the G42 is a dedicated workout carry in an Enigma rig. The G29 is the dedicated woods carry gun.
Moral of the story, just start with a G19. I've enjoyed the process of configuring each platform and I have a place for each of them in my carry rotation but in all honesty I could've saved a ton of time, effort, and money if I bought the 19 first.
