Ran this in a match yesterday. Truly enjoyable to shoot. I am running the radian compressor with 15# spring. Trigger is Tactical Pontoon Heisenberg. Love everything about this gun.

Reassembling Malfunction
I was cleaning and lubing my Glock 17 gen 4 and when it was time to put the slide back on, I think the spring popped up but it’s fully stuck like this and I had put a solid amount of pressure to see if there’s any play or wiggle room and there’s not. What should I do? I’m new to glocks

Love These Things
Been through quite a few Glocks now and regrettably sold most. Couldnt justify keeping them when I’m not able to shoot as often as I used to. These were my favorites and what I decided to keep. Just need to swap to taller front sights and they’ll be finished.

Why is Glock basically considered a standard?
For context , my first gun is a Glock 45, initially before owning any gun i was looking at some sigs (dont kill me) but once i went to the store and held a few guns in my hand the Glock just felt "right". I know this is a glock sub, but id like your thoughts as to why the glock is basically a standard almost everywhere , some people dislike em but even the one who dont like em kinda respect the name . Please give me your thoughts.
At the end of the day people buy whatever they like i personally love my 45 and ill be getting another glock soon, some other guns feel good in the hand but i think ill stick to glock , maybe when i have some more cash to burn ill own other stuff, but not as my CCW.

Glow Baby Glow
A bored pic I just took of the night sights on my Glock 19C V doing their thing. Nothing special, just Ameriglo sights. In better lighting, you'd see that the rear sights have white outlines, while the front has a bright yellow outline.
Christ, holding my phone in one hand and aiming with the other and actually having the sights line up is hard as hell...

G26.5 w/ MEC-GAR 15-Round Magazine
Thought these photos might be useful for anyone looking for a reference.. I couldn’t find much info online myself.
So far, no complaints. I am a little concerned about the metal-to-plastic interface, but Mec-Gar says there’s no need to swap out the OEM mag release, so I’ll stick with it for now.
I added some granulate tape to the front since the polymer felt a bit too smooth for my liking. Down the line, I might look into getting it stippled lightly.
Sizing is just shy of the G19 grip length!!

Advanced Reset Technologies
As a lot of you probably already know Advanced Reset Technologies formerly Appalachian Custom Gun Works is a scam. I just wanted to put my stuff out there for anyone thinking about buying from there. DONT. I purchased an FRT from them when they first started, a little more than 200 bucks. It took me over a year to get it, constant ghosting and false promises. “I’ll send you a lot of extras” “it will ship out today” constant excuses. Toward the end he did offer me a refund but I really wanted an FRT, I opted to wait a little bit longer. After I pestered them for another 2 weeks finally someone took my order and drove it to the post office for shipping. I finally got my FRT except they sent me literally the shittiest ones they had. They said I would receive the new Ruger 10/22 FRT for my troubles, you would think that means im getting the nice metal one. Nope I got 10 shitty 3D printed ones that don't work without being sanded down and don't last more than 100 rounds or so. The FRT trigger for my Glock I waited a year for, does not work. It prevents the Glock from cycling properly and prevents proper extraction. I have attempted to sand the shoe down smoother, and tried to reduce the sharp curves. All in all the experience was terrible, I strongly encourage you to buy from somewhere else. Im curious to see if anyone else has had a similar experience
