Hi all. I know this isn’t what this is probably for and I’m not much of a redditor but I need help doing something special for my wife who lets just say would identify with the problems the women in this group face 😂.
So to the problem. Our 15 year is this year and we have planned a once in a lifetime trip through Europe ending in Barcelona for a few days including our anniversary. I have planned what I think will be a very special day for us but I have one major problem. We will be going to a flamenco dinner show. It’s not a super fancy event but not your local Applebees. After that I have scheduled a time in a private Roman bath house for two. We won’t have time to go to the hotel and change between them so I need a swimsuit that has a cover that is kinda fancy. Maybe looks like a nice dress or something. I’m not sure I’m a man with no style but I know I need to make sure she has something she can wear to dinner and than to the bathhouse to relax and decompress.
She is just starting to wear two pieces again and I think she would want on for this. She is rather large in the chest with a tummy and a small waist and butt. She is also kinda short at just under 5’.
I can answer any other questions that might help. This is special so I’m willing to spend a little on it but we are far from rich and this is a once in a lifetime thing for us so I gotta cap the budget on this at $200.
TLDR dumb husband needs help from women finding swimsuit.
ETA. I shop with her regularly and know her sizes very well, as well as buy her dresses and bras, so I’m not very concerned with getting something that doesn’t fit well enough for the night. Would try to buy one to go down water slides but yeah floating in water in private where we just have to wear them per thier rules not to concerned there.
With that said. Her picking out her own outfit for the night is obviously very preferable but she has asked that I plan the entire day and keep it a surprise. Suggestions on how to get her to buy a new outfit that is nice dinner ready and swimsuit ready I’m all ears. Few key notes. It is a beach town and we will be with in a block of the beach at all times. But she hates the ocean. Loves the beach but won’t get in the rough water. Normally wears swim trunks and a shirt to the beach since she doesn’t get in the water. The dinner isn’t 5 star place that is suit and tie but it is one of the nicer places in town for Flamenco show and authentic Spanish meal. So we don’t need to be really dressed up but a basic Shaw will provably make her feel out of place.
